What Energizes Me at Work

Practical Applications

Hands-on work and the opportunity to explore in my role

I appreciate the opportunity to explore and take on responsibilities in areas outside of my primary role, to build upon existing and gain new skillsets in the process. This is how I first branched into project and content management projects.

Team Environment

Working independently—but laddering up to a team

I thrive in an environment where I am working independently and as part of a cohesive team. I feel most motivated when that the work I’m doing is directly contributing to team and stakeholder goals—whether by managing a search engine marketing campaign, conducting competitive analysis, serving as a project manager on a website project or creating and distributing resources that will be used across an organization.

Contributing to Internal Processes

Creating resources and sharing knowledge

I enjoy opportunities to create and share internal resources such as SOP documentation, email communications, quick reference sheets as well as full PowerPoint presentations. I see these projects as an inviting challenge to design and write content so that it is immediately understood by anyone reading it.
